The Humble Beginning
For over two decades, Ashok worked as a vendor, interacting with local communities across Karnataka. He saw the hardships firsthand—children without books, families with no light, elderly with no access to health. What others ignored, he couldn’t forget.
A Turning Point
In 2022, Ashok decided that he didn’t want to just earn—he wanted to give back. He started small, donating books and school supplies. Then came initiatives to fix broken roads, install streetlights, and support Anganwadi workers. With growing impact and community trust, the Kamba Foundation was officially launched.
Kamba’s Mission Today
- Education First – Providing school kits, tuition, digital learning
- Lighting Villages – Streetlights for safety and development
- Health & Hygiene – Sanitation kits and medical support camps
- Women Empowerment – Skilling programs and self-help groups
- Digital Access – Setting up basic tech access in rural areas
